Swoon (5422 West Vliet) will feature the work of artist Kelli Greentree, who creates original oil and acrylic paintings using characeristic bright bold colors and black outlines.
Luce Lighting (5401 West Vliet) will display the work of Dave Watkins, an abstract painter whose canvas becomes the city, using texture and layers of color to reflect thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Barcelona (5827 West Vliet) will feature the work of Cherie Burbach, poet, mixed media artist, and freelance writer.
Pop! (5706 West Vliet ) is hosting an Art show, “Hip 2B Square: Playing inside the Box,” featuring the creations of 16 local artists working in a square format or incorporating squares into their work.
Urban Sense (5402 West Vliet) will show all the contest entries from St. Coletta's. The West Vliet Street Business Association held a contest with the students of St. Coletta Day School to create artwork for this year's Artwalk poster. The winning entry was created by Aamir Cross. St. Coletta Day School of Milwaukee, located at 1740 North 55th Street, is a nonprofit, nonsectarian educational program for students with special needs.
Square One Art Glass (5322 W. Vliet) will be doing glass blowing demos on Friday night.
Resource (5328 W. Vliet) is featuring local artists.
Murphy Financial Services will be open and featuring Kami from Seams 2 Refurb and her wares: Trivets, Coasters, Signs, and Glassware which are available for purchase as well as making custom items. She also has refurbished items. Furniture, foot lockers, mirrors, etc.
The Space (5312 W. Vliet St) will be featuring Jonathan Shaw. Jonathan Shaw enjoys expressing the beauty of the Lord and Scripture through a whimsical folk art style.
Wy'east Pizza (5601 W. Vliet St) will be open Friday night regular hours, 4:30-9 and will open at Noon on Saturday with a limited Pizza focaccia menu/ limited quantities. Their regular pizza menu will start at 4:30.
The Vintage Glass Garden (5700 W Vliet St) Stop by and explore the artwork and wares created by Owner and Artist Jean Marie Best. She creates vintage garden art merging her love of antiques and gardening! Fri. 5-8pm and Saturday 10-4.
