Half-Year Membership - After July 1st

This membership tier is for businesses paying their dues on or after July 1st of the current year. Your WVS membership fees go towards cost of event promotion including signage and social advertising plus WVS association costs including website and email hosting. West Vliet St Inc. (WVS Inc.) is an organization committed to helping our local business owners and neighbors thrive, with a focus on adding value in 3 key areas: Visibility, Events, & Community Networking.

Visibility: promote West Vliet St as a key destination and desirable place to live, visit, work, dine & shop through branding and beautification.  Efforts include: 
  • WVS branding ranging from street post signage, sidewalk flags during promotional events and more
  • Listing on WVS website, neighborhood map, promotional materials and social highlights to drive awareness and credibility for local businesses
  • Awareness and advocacy for key areas that impact our business district
Events: WVS hosts 5 key seasonal events that drive to people to community including: Community Networking: 
  • 3-4 Member Events per year that promote networking amongst business owners and community members, plus build relationships that promote referrals between businesses
  • Educational speakers at events covering a range of topics including social media optimization, cross promoting businesses, leveraging community grants, etc.
  • Members participate in annual survey for feedback on their business needs/events they’d like to see (coming 2023)

All members receive: 
Monthly email updates on WVS happenings. 
Business listing on WVS website.
Participation in annual membership survey.
Opportunity to participate in networking events, quarterly board meetings and annual membership survey to weigh in on WVS organizational priorities. 

Funds from Membership are used for: 
Supplement costs of key annual WVS events.
WVS Website hosting & email management fees.
Promotional materials that support the cohesive brand of the street.

Annual Membership Fees
$150 annual or $75 prorated after July 1st 
This membership includes your business being listed with a link on the website and included/featured in our social media marketing.
