West Vliet St (WVS) is an organization committed to helping our local business owners and neighbors thrive, with a focus on adding value in 3 key areas: Visibility, Events, & Community Networking.

Visibility: promote Vliet St as a key destination and desirable place to live, visit, work, dine & shop through branding and beautification.  Efforts include: 
  • WVS branding ranging from street post signage, sidewalk flags during promotional events and more
  • Listing on WVS website, neighborhood map, promotional materials and social highlights to drive awareness and credibility for local businesses
  • Awareness and advocacy for key areas that impact our business district
Events: WVS hosts 4 key seasonal events that drive to people to community including: Community Networking: 
  • 3-4 Member Events per year that promote networking amongst business owners and community members, plus build relationships that promote referrals between businesses
  • Educational speakers at events covering a range of topics including social media optimization, cross promoting businesses, leveraging community grants, etc.
  • Members participate in annual survey for feedback on their business needs/events they’d like to see (coming January 2022)

All members receive: 
Monthly email updates on WVS happenings 
Business listing on WVS website
Participation in Q1 annual membership survey
Opportunity to participate in networking events, quarterly board meetings and annual membership survey to weigh in on WVS organizational priorities 
Access to Member's Only section of the new site launching Spring 2022

Funds from Membership are used for: 
WVS Website hosting & email management fees
Promotional materials that support the cohesive brand of the street
Supplement costs of key annual WVS events

Membership Levels:
Signature Membership - $200 annual or  $18 month/$216 year (monthly subscription) This membership includes your business name featured in marketing all street-wide events for the year, as well as  business name, website, description, and social media on the WVSBA website. Also includes everything that Basic Membership does. 

Basic Membership - $120 annual or $12/month/$144 (monthly subscription) This membership includes your business being listed with a link on the website and included/featured in our social media marketing. Opportunity to participate in large-scale branding projects, including marketing materials for businesses and West Vliet Street signs.
